How to develop resilience for unemployment, social isolation and change
Funded by Aging Better Middlesbrough, this 8 week Mindfulness Based Living Course is focusing on unemployed men who are wanting to improve how they deal with change, find meaning in life, coping with stress, developing resilience for change and social isolation. All addressed by encouraging men to come together and learn new skills while engaging in group discussion and mindfulness practice. In the group we encourage commitment and motivation to attend and practice at home. Men are free to be open and honest to describe how they are experiencing the present moment.
