Mindfulness for men
Starting on the 15th of February this 8 week 'Mindfulness-based Living Course' proved to be a big hit amongst the whole group of men.
Men from across Teesside, aged between 25 and 70, learned how to practice mindfulness meditation and how to be more mindful in their daily lives. Using before and after wellbeing questionnaires, the results and feedback back show how mindfulness can benefit men's health.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TAKE THIS COURSE, IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND HAS REALLY IMPROVED MY WELL-BEING AND HELPED ME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT BEING MINDFUL IS AND HOW THE SMALLEST LITTLE CHANGES MAKE SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE.

I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT BUT TURNED OUT TO BE MORE THAN JUST LEARNING HOW TO MEDITATE. TURNED OUT TO BE A SOCIAL GATHERING, SOMETHING I HAVE RARELY HAD WITH LADS BEFORE. REALLY POSITIVE AND HELPFUL.

Jon's tone, use of language, and reflected listening and teaching were something that massively appealed to me and only got better as the weeks went on, knowing what was to be expected. Highly recommended and stick with it, if you get to week 4 I think most will finish but an open mind and commitment to embed the practices must be in your toolkit from day one.

Sometimes the same information can be delivered and received completely differently depending on the teacher/facilitator. A fantastic journey of learning and sharing with an amazing tutor who created a safe environment. The extra course information, reading, and resources are fantastic and complement each session. The Break out rooms were great to allow people to become more intermate in sharing their experiences with their mindfulness practice. I enjoyed the regular emails of encouragement and updates.
