Dealing with the stresses and strains of daily life can be difficult for many people, especially the most vulnerable and those that work with local authorities, charities and caring organisations. Ever increasing cuts are placing pressure on staff within the Public Health and Caring sectors forcing local communities to help themselves.
Focus Day Training offers support in the form of mindful-based training that teaches the skills for dealing with difficult and stressful times, helping to create resilience and skills for wellbeing which can improve happiness and mental health. Busy public health settings can stress the brain and cause the symptoms of compassionate burnout among front line staff. Mindfulness skills have been shown in scientific trials to increase the capacity for developing compassion and empathy.
